patience is a virtue.

i'm learning the art of patience. the old me would harass people daily until i got what i wanted no matter how insignificant. i know it sounds a little excessive but i do it out of laziness. the less i have to remember the better, i say.

so maddie has been in a day care center since sept. 1st that we dont like. her day care worker forgot to fill out a form so she got booted out of the first day care center [that we liked] and as a stop gap, was put into the problematic center.

i've been on a crusade to get her out of there and somewhere more suitable [on a variety of levels] but it's been slow going. centers are full, some require more paperwork than the case worker has on file, it's always something.

it turns out that a deluxe day care center is right across the street from my new job. i took a look-see today and was impressed. its basically the difference between public and private hospitals. this place has all the amenities that a smother mother or father could want for their over achieving child. music classes, computer classes, live video feeds....honestly some of it is ridicuolous.

it all comes at a price. this place charges $200/month more than the state will pay for day care. so if rob and i want to put maddie there we'll have to pony up the difference. while we love maddie a lot, she's not up for adoption yet and it seems a little foolhardy to spend that kind of money when she can be taken back to her mother at any time.

patience is a virtue. i'm sure the answers will present themselves sooner or later.

It really is a good job that Im not doing any of this as I really dont have, any sort of patience, especially when it comes to wanting what I want!, I guess what im trying to say is that Im more childish thn a child would be! BUT $200 does seem rather excessive on top of what the state will pay, which leads me to ask. How much is this place if that is the excess? I know you guys will figure all this out, just relax, it doesnt have to be difficult.
